The Moment

Released 2026

I got to watch this in theaters for Gen Bums birthday and I think I quite loved it. First of all I was SAT during the intro. I mean I'm pretty sure my jaw dropped and I might have been drooling. I don't know but watching her dance under strobe lights is so mesmerizing. Sidenote - I took an edible before this movie and it didn't kick in, since then I tried eating 2, 3 and 4 gummies and they still aren't kicking in so please recommend something good. Anyways, this film is a mockumentary so she's basically doing the Brat tour but everything is falling apart. I mean I don't doubt it was already stressful behind the scenes in general but in terms of this show I mean she loses her whole idea of Brat and it becomes this PG, child friendly show.

Throughout the movie Charlie is being bombarded with the question if Brat summer is just a phase or a forever thing. As the pressure builds she starts to lose her sanity. Though Charli is playing herself she's playing a satire version, so she's more demanding, serious, chaotic, a little selfish, she's pretty much got her management spread thin with the amount of times she switches lanes. I honestly thought it was funny the way she portrayed herself because I feel like she had so much fun getting to be that kind of self - centered celebrity. I loved it too because she got more insane the show did also and then everything kind of took a turn when all the sudden a new creative director gained control and steered the tour in a more Nickelodeon themed way. NOT IN TERMS OF THE CREEPS but in terms of they were a little cooler and edgier than Disney Channel. I’m honestly kind of forgetting the end which is good because no spoilers right..? Anyways this movie made me want a Brat card.
