This movie was so insane from start to finish, I loved it. I watched it twice. For those of you that don’t know, Terri Joe is an online persona, you may have seen her on Tik Tok. In this movie she plays that persona which is basically her thinking she's a white, southern, Christian woman and I have to say it was hilarious. It joked around like it was a 2000s comedy, a lot of out of pocket stuff but stuff you can't help but laugh at because you're sitting there like HUH? WHAT? So basically we follow Terri Joe as she finds herself in some trouble. The store she works at gets robbed and the criminals seem to be after her which leads her to venture to Miami with her cousin, Georgia, which was another alter ego of hers. Her cousin is living a pretty glamorous life compared to her life back home but that doesn't mean it one she approves of being the strictly Christian woman she is. Writing about this movie I feel like you just have to watch it because then the rest of the movie is her having a crazy experience at Georgia's party and then spending the rest of the movie trying to find a “local whites only” church. Of course there are many things she encounters and does along the way, MANY things. Do keep in mind also that this is a low budget film, it’s a Tubi original so there are places it could be better but I honestly wouldn't mind if it had a sequel. I feel like there has to be one.
